WHEN IS THE NEXT TAX SALE? Grant County has tentatively set September 18, 2009 as the date for the next tax sale. That date is subject to change, however, and a list of properties that are eligible for that sale won't be available until August of 2009.
PROPERTY TAX STATEMENTS 2007 payable 2008 property tax statements for all of Grant County were mailed on July 30, 2008, with a due date of August 15, 2008 for the first installment and November 10, 2008 for the second installment. A 5-day extension of time to pay the second installment of 2007 payable 2008 taxes has been declared, so late payment penalties will only be assessed on the second installment of 2007 payable 2008 property taxes if payment is made after November 15, 2008.
